Abandoned objects collected around 2P Contemporary Art Gallery

A site-specific installation consists of a stage-like
platform comprising a variety of collected found objects including books,
chairs, abandoned materials and squashed potatoes cover with dirt sit forlornly
on the floor. A composition is contrasted with a pile of wood attached with
recomposed objects, leaning against the wall. This metaphorical rearrangement
of objects stems from Tang’s interest in reframing the way “things” gets
mis/recognized in the context to the absence of a performance and the performer.

藝術空間設置於日常環境往往會有突兀的感覺，尤在香港，市民普遍缺乏當代藝術知識，既害伯走進它，亦不知道該如何下定義。
我在展覽場地四周撿拾遺棄之物及垃圾，把隔鄰丟掉的東西帶到這裡。然而，這不單單是關於美學的再現，而是你們的痕跡集結在這裡。我們不輕易在外留下身影，但可以由此容下你們生活的借喻嗎？
